Campus Planning Study

HSA completed a campus planning study for Valley Forge Educational Services, an APS serving children with disabilities. Additionally, HSA developed full project design for a new academic/therapeutic building with multiple options for a performing arts center addition or stand alone structure.

HSA adopted a three-pronged approach to this project. After assessing existing campus site and structures, HSA conducted programming interviews and work sessions to evaluate varying opportunities for campus growth and to alleviate existing campus pedestrian and traffic deficiency. Ultimately HSA provided multiple Master Planning Options associated with varying approaches to campus redevelopment. The architectural design was intended to respond to the existing campus architecture and provide a fresh vision for the future of the school. The interior design was intended to right-size classroom spaces, provide appropriate neighborhood type models for therapeutic areas, and focus on balancing instructional and safety needs of the students.
