CARRIAGE HOUSE EVENT SPACE

HISTORIC WAYNESBOROUGH

 Berwyn, PA | 3,500 SF

The carriage house is a late nineteenth century structure which serves as an orientation space, museum and gift shop for a large Revolutionary War property that is part of the National Register of Historic Buildings.

To increase its flexibility and fully utilize the carriage house, the Committee raised funds to renovate and add gathering spaces, a catering kitchen, toilet rooms, display areas and permanent hardscape for large-gathering tented events.

This is a blending of an existing Colonial Revival mode with 21st century program requirements and vernacular Chester County architectural style.
